The network planned to rely significantly on adult animation, animated reboots, and topical series. Tosh wasn’t a good fit for the channel’s new direction.
The official statement emphasized that Daniel’s brand of comedy didn’t fit its new vision; contrary to popular opinion, his program wasn’t canceled just because of his quips, which are typically considered vulgar.
