Due to Tucker Carlson’s abrupt resignation from Fox News, which was met with condemnation from the network’s viewership and a reported decline in ratings, the conservative broadcaster is under more scrutiny.
Forbes claims that the channel has refuted suggestions that Sean Hannity would replace Tucker Carlson in his prime-time slot, which has been circulating for the past week. Several tweets claimed that Fox News dismissed anchor Laura Ingraham between May 17 and 18, 2023.

Was Laura Ingle Fired From Fox
On the show, Ingraham has discussed right-wing narratives while endorsing conservative viewpoints. In March 2023, she declared that former President Donald Trump would have to set the 2020 election aside regarding his future presidential attempt.
“If I were Trump or running his campaign, I would strongly urge him to stop talking about 2020, it is over, enough,” Ingraham stated during an appearance on her show.
“Marinating on old claims of election fraud will not win over a single voter in any state that he needs to win in 2024.” Nevertheless, it is untrue that Fox fired Ingraham for any reason.
In a direct response, Fox News informed Newsweek that Ingraham would stay at the channel and that the allegations against her were “wildly inaccurate.”
“Reports based on various tweets by left-wing activists are wildly inaccurate—Laura Ingraham, the top-rated woman in cable news, is now and will continue to be a prominent host and integral part of the FOX News lineup,” a representative for Fox News stated.
“No decision has been made on a new primetime lineup, and multiple scenarios are under consideration.” The Drudge Report regarding suspected changes at the network following Carlson’s departure may have given rise to the claims about Ingraham’s departure. Then, Ingraham will only depart the station for a while.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently contacted Dominion Voting Systems to inquire whether the corporation was involved in Carlson’s resignation from the conservative news network.
Fox News agreed to pay $787 million to settle the voting company’s defamation case, averting a trial that would have revealed how the network pushed misinformation about the 2020 presidential election.
The network did not provide an explanation for why it severed its relationship with Carlson, whose text messages were made available to the public as part of that litigation. A Dominion spokeswoman told Newsweek that there was nothing in the settlement agreement involving Carlson.
