Si Robertson: Beyond the Duck Dynasty

Si Robertson starred in Duck Dynasty, a reality show about the Robertson family, from 2012 until 2017. He was a breakout star during his time on the show because of his endearing and eccentric nature, that’s why they called him Uncle Si.

He obtained his spinoff, Going Si-ral (2016–2017), before the show’s conclusion. However, despite being in both shows, he seldom appears in public.

Si Robertson is an American TV personality, novelist, singer, actor, former reed maker, and army veteran. His most well-known roles have been in the reality TV series Going Si-Ral and Duck Dynasty (2012–2017).

He is the publisher of Si-renity: How I Stay Calm and Keep the Faith, a New York Times bestseller. In addition to being an author, Si Robertson started a country music group called Uncle Si and the Sicotics. But where is Duck Dynasty’s Si Robertson?

Where Is Si Robertson today?

In 2018, he formed Uncle Si & The Sicotics, a musical group, following a lengthy career in the television industry. He has been engrossed in music ever since. However, he always had music as a goal, as seen by the 2014 release of the tune “Me and My Smokin’ Hot Honey.”

Uncle Si is a jack of all trades in terms of pastimes. He has dabbled in writing, music production, and, of course, viral video analysis.

He worked with his nephew Willie Robertson on the brief Going Si-Ral spinoff series, which ended just before Duck Dynasty.

In May 2017, almost immediately after the show concluded, Robertson published a book. The book Si-renity: How I Stay Calm and Keep the Faith is a biography that takes readers behind the scenes of his whole life, including his time spent on the A & E reality show. In actuality, this was Robertson’s fourth novel to be published.

After the collection of Robertson’s “tall tales, crazy exploits, and quirky one-liners” found in Si-cology 1: Tales and Wisdom from Duck Dynasty’s Favorite Uncle, two children’s books featuring the entire Robertson clan, Uncle Si and The Christmas Elf, and Everything’s Better with a Beard, were released.

Since then, Uncle Si has decided to throw himself entirely into his music career, forming Uncle Si and the Sicotics, a country music group.

Robertson, his daughter-in-law Marsha Robertson (who also appeared on Duck Dynasty and is Uncle Si’s brother Phil Robertson’s wife), and renowned singer-songwriter Bridgette Tatum make up the band. In 2017, they recorded the single “As Seen on TV” and later released an EP of the same name.

Robertson broadened his fan base on television by joining the cast of Last Man Standing before the conclusion of the Duck Dynasty, at what was the height of his mainstream fame.

He played Uncle Ray in the show’s 2013 episode “Back to School.” He has experimented with feature films, appearing briefly in the faith-based movie Faith of Our Fathers (2015) and lighthearted family entertainment, providing the voice of VeggieTales: Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas.

However, Robertson’s acting bug bite lasted only briefly, as he had not appeared in front of the camera since the Duck Dynasty concluded in 2017. And since his attention is on Uncle Si and the Sicotics, this seems to remain the same for a while.
