David Bromstad and His Look-Alike Brother: The Truth About His Family

Unlike most celebrities, Bromstad does not distance his family from the internet’s prying eyes. On social media, he often writes about his parents and siblings. American TV personality and designer David Bromstad most famously came first on the HGTV Design Star inaugural season.

Among the HGTV shows he has hosted are Beach Flip, Colour Splash, and My Lottery Dream Home. David Bromstad debuted on TV in 2006 after winning HGTV’s “Design Star.

” Later, he assessed this competitiveness in the next seasons and starred in his own shows on the network, “Colour Splash” and “My Lottery Dream Home.

“When David competed in Season 2 of HGTV’s all-star competition, “Rock the Block,” he also displayed his passion for audacious designs.

David is separate from HGTV’s roster of stars, even though it has several sets of twins like Drew Scott, Jonathan Scott, Lyndsay Lamb, and Leslie Davis.

David hooked up with the Scott twins when he showed up on eight episodes of their “Brother vs. Brother,” but he does not have a twin brother.

David Bromstad and Dean Bromstad Resemblance

David Bromstad and his older brother Dean Bromstad are among the celebrities you might have thought they were twins. But don’t get it twisted; they only look a lot alike.

While Dean isn’t as open about his life as the other Bromstad siblings, it’s evident from occasional Facebook posts he publishes that the genes are strong in the Bromstad family.

David and Dean have many physical similarities, from the form of their nose to the general contour of their face. And even though Dean keeps his life more secret, his apparent new romance has him yelling it from the rooftops.

David Bromstad’s Other Siblings

David Bromstad and his sisters, Danielle and Dyonne Bromstad, highlight a close-knit family relationship. The HGTV star regularly highlights closeness runs deep in the Bromstad kin by lighting up social media with images of his older brothers and their parents.

He posted a picture of every family member, sans his older brother, on social media in 2017. He captioned the image, “Having the best time with my fantastic family!” David’s social media evidence of his sibling’s respect is commendable, but the best evidence? They went on one of his gigs with him.

Dynelle and Dyonne participated in “My Lottery Dream Home Holiday Extravaganza” in 2021. David posted pictures of him and his sisters on set under the comment,

“I don’t think I’ve ever stated this in my entire career, but I do feel this is the best thing I have ever been a part of. Most likely because my wonderful sisters were part of my excellent squad!”

He explained their relationship: “We are funny, odd, gloriously bizarre, trendy, honest, inventive, and fabulously nerdy. These images cover all aspects of us.

Working with these amazing women and producing moments that will always be treasured makes me really happy and honoured.” David may be a great star on TV, but it’s good to know he hasn’t allowed it to sour his relationships with his family.
