Joana Ceddia is unquestionably a huge YouTube star. Having amassed over 2.7 million YouTube subscribers, the 18-year-old vlogger was among the most sought-after YouTubers at VidCon 2019.
The only person who would oil paint the Mona Lisa in one video and then violently mimic a famous dispute from the popular reality series “Dance Moms” in another would be Joana Ceddia. She has millions of subscribers because she embodies the kind of relatable, charming chaos that Gen Z loves.
The 20-year-old Canadian’s rise to fame can likely be attributed to an algorithmic miracle since two of her videos were recommended to millions of users on YouTube’s recommended page.
A well-known, outspoken YouTube hairstylist influenced Ceddia in one video, which saw her chopping her hair on a whim using craft scissors and captioning it, “Brad Mondo, this is for you.”
In the other video, Ceddia ‘duped’ stuff from Emma Chamberlain’s infamous apparel brand. Emma was chastised for using a marketing gimmick to obscure merchandise photographs.

Why Joana Ceddia has been Missing in Action
June 2019 marked Joana Ceddia’s high school graduation. She has informed supporters that she would be attending college in the autumn of 2019, but she has yet to disclose the location due to privacy concerns. Joana intends to pursue a career in physics and astronomy.
Since this YouTuber is aware that vlogging isn’t her primary career goal. Joana stated, “I know that if I dropped out right now and I said I’m gonna live with my YouTube for the rest of my life, that’s not gonna work,” in a video titled “Let’s talk about school” uploaded in April 2019.
“Because I know I’m not going to be doing this for the rest of my life,” she said, adding that she would not return to school to obtain a degree to find employment. Going back and at least earning a bachelor’s degree in whatever would be quite difficult.”
Joana encourages those who follow her to further their education. Joana believes that education is vital, even though she knows many YouTubers and even the mainstream media advise young people against pursuing an education.
“Even with my YouTube channel, I’ve used several skills that I learned in school to make this,” she stated in a 2019 video.
So I really don’t understand how people have the audacity to say that school’s useless when there are so many examples of how it actually is very useful.”
She said: “If you are planning on dropping out, if that’s something you want to do, I implore you to think about your decision wisely because it’s not easy to go back upon…”
