The fourth season finale of the show aired back in April 2018. The work revolves around the unconventional genius Walter O’Brien and his group of bright outcasts from a Homeland Security think tank, who serve as the last line of defense against sophisticated, cutting-edge threats in the contemporary era.

‘Scorpion,’ a television series about a squad of clever detectives, made its debut in September 2014 on CBS. It quickly became an unexpected smash for the network, rising to the top of CBS’ drama ratings in its first season.
The show’s unique premise, centered around engineers, hackers, mathematicians, and even a bright young boy, distinguished it in a crowded area of procedurals. However, despite its success, CBS canceled the show after four seasons, leaving fans with a cliffhanger ending.

Why Did the CBS Program End
Scorpion ended because of its low ratings, as frequently with network television. The Wrap reports that the endearing crime series rose to the top of CBS’ drama ratings in its first season.
At the time, executive vice president of CBS Primetime, Kelly Kahl, likened the programme to the network’s comedy powerhouse, The Big Bang Theory. “We looked at it as an extension of The Big Bang Theory, but in the drama world,” Kahl stated.
At first, it appeared that the audience agreed. Even while Scorpion attracted a fervent following fast, not everyone stayed to watch the squad take on new cases every week.
According to Deadline, when the season 4 finale aired, it was one of the least-watched CBS programmes airing in the 2017–2018 TV season.
The drop in viewers wasn’t a reflection on Scorpion’s quality as it was a sign of the network’s continued problems drawing viewers to their Monday night scripted schedule. Elementary and Code Black were also having difficulties at the time.
The Scorpion actors didn’t appear surprised that CBS has canceled the show. The actors appeared to have accepted Scorpion’s early cancellation by the time CBS formally canceled the show.
“Thank you so much to @CBS for this journey, to my awesome cast mates and crew whom I learned from every day and to all the wonderful @ScorpionCBS fans for being so passionate about what we created,
” tweeted Katherine McPhee, who played former waitress Paige, shortly after the news was announced. We shall always be related.”
Robert Patrick, McPhee’s co-star, tweeted about the announcement, saying, “Thank you to all the fans! It’s been an incredible run and a terrific narrative to tell, thanks to the writers, crew, cast, and @CBS! Let’s go on to the next!”
