Brad experienced an unforeseen health challenge in the Hell’s Kitchen series, Season 22. If you are an avid fan of the reality TV cooking competition show, you would agree with me that for contestants to exit the show, they must have been eliminated.
However, the exit of Brad is unlike this usual exit (elimination). Upon successfully reaching episode 6 of the series, Brad Delgado had to exit from the competition due to health challenges.
His departure from the show has been recognized to be because of the surgery he had earlier before the contest began. Hence he had to exit the show and return to Miami to attend to his health.

No, Brad wasn’t eliminated nor evicted from the reality TV cooking competition show, Hell’s Kitchen. Hell’s Kitchen is a popular reality TV cooking competition in the United States that allows aspiring chefs to compete against each other for a worthy reward.
Each season features various culinary challenges from Chef Gordon Ramsay, and those who couldn’t meet up with the rules are eliminated after each challenge.
As the season progresses episode-by-episode, the last chef standing claims the grand prize of becoming the head chef at a prestigious restaurant, mostly Chef Gordon restaurant.
On September 28, 2023, Season 22 of the Hell’s Kitchen TV show premiered on Fox, and 18 chefs contested for the audition.
Among these aspiring chefs with extraordinary culinary skills was Brad Delgado. Hailing from Miami, Brad is an aspiring chef who made it to the 6th episode of the show.
However, his presence in the reality TV competition show came to an end in the 6th episode after he exited the show.
Unlike the usual departures of chefs dictated by elimination (when they couldn’t meet the requirements to proceed to the next episode),
Brad’s exit wasn’t based on elimination. As reported, Brad encountered an unforeseen health challenge resulting in his exit from the competition.
While the competition was still on and going, he approached the host, Chef Gordon Ramsay, to report his exit from Hell’s Kitchen because his body was failing him and he needed to attend to his health. He was then permitted to exit the show to attend to his health.
Allegedly, he joined the show while he was still recovering from surgery. It was reported that Brad underwent surgery to address a hernia a few weeks before he registered for the Hell’s Kitchen competition.
While he hasn’t fully recovered, he believes he was prepared and can manage his body through the competition. However, it took an unexpected turn during the competition, the pain became unbearable leading to serious health complications that needed to be attended to.
This pain, however, prevented him from continuing with the competition, hence leading to his exit from the show. Following his exit from Hell’s Kitchen, Brad Delgado returned to Miami and significant improvement in his health has been reported.
